Deklaracija EASPD-a o zapošljavanju (Croatian)

by Veneta Kuyova - Tuesday, 27 February 2018, 2:13 PM

Description

The objective of the European Mentoring in Social Care (EMiSC) training material is to create a ‘common foundation’ in social care training across the EU, so that all EU care services are based on UNCRPD principles and provided by staff that understand and follow these principles. The goal is to support first line staff members in social care by setting up mentoring programme and giving mentoring support via a well-trained mentor to every newcomer or staff member in need of some “refreshment” training.  The training material is available in 8 languages and exists mainly of a formal curriculum, a mentor training course, a train the training course and a mentoring assessment tool, to assess the mentors. The training material was the result of the EC Erasmus+ KA2 funded 3-year project EMiSC (2015-2018). This is the EMISC training material in Bulgarian.

The Council of Europe Disability Action Plan 2006-2015 has come to an end. The present report intends to underline its added value for the European region and to contribute to the new Plan for 2016-2020. For each action line, it examines the state of play and explains what our organisation has done in terms of policies, projects and events. Moreover, it defines a new methodology based on the analysis of the current situation and of existing gaps. It also defines three types of actions to be carried out: collection of knowledge and know-how, gathering of models of promising practices and drafting of policy recommendation.

Independent Living Manual

by Admin EASPD - Tuesday, 27 March 2018, 3:07 PM

A manual is usually a book giving instruct on or information. This manual is written to provide tools for change through information. It does not set out to give instruction, specifically, but to offer examples of routes, histories and

circumstances that have occurred in Europe. It identifies frameworks, ideas, challenges, myths and hope.

The routes for Turkey are dependent on Turkey’s infrastructure, the attitudes of Government, existing legal systems and different stakeholders. These in turn are contextualised within Europe and internationally. But as with elsewhere it is for disabled people and disabled people’s organisations to lead, act and work together for the future they want to see. Change does not come because we wait for it, but because we fight for it. While we have a framework of rights, those rights must have a political will behind them so that they are implemented, monitored, shaped and improved by disabled people themselves. It is up to us to change our lives and convince others to support us in doing so until we achieve full independent living and equality everywhere for all disabled people.

Life Stages of Creativity

by Veneta Kuyova - Thursday, 29 March 2018, 2:40 PM

Description

Creativity develops through age-related stages. Children and adolescents explore ranges of creative skills, but rarely contribute professionally to any discipline. Disciplinary creativity is often dependent on prior childhood play and learning, but is manifested mainly in maturity. Total creative productivity tends to increase until middle age and declines thereafter. Effective (high impact) creative productivity is usually limited to a few years and rarely correlates with total productivity.

Description

The Vona du Toit Model of Creative Ability is a model with a developmental frame of reference combined with existentialism, phenomenology and motivation theory.  The central belief is that motivation governs action and action is the manifestation or expression of motivation. Motivation and action are inextricably linked, and therefore one can identify an individual's motivation by observing the person’s action.
